Dear Client,

At our firm, we are staying up to date and monitoring the situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) from the local, state and federal level. We are following guidelines for cleanliness and social distancing and any new information provided as issues arise. Our clients and staff are our utmost concern and we have taken steps to provide a safe and healthy working environment. Our office will close during this time; however, we are still preparing returns and are able to operate outside of the office with the proper backup system and technical support needed to continue to provide services. You have the option to mail in your tax return or scan/email into our office or request an appointment once we resume normal business hours. We are also asking clients whose returns are already completed to indicate if they would prefer their completed returns be held and be picked up at a later date, mailed or emailed to them. We’ve received calls regarding due dates and deadlines. Both the Federal and State agencies have extended the due date for the 2019 tax year to July 15, 2020. This means you will not need to file an extension for this deadline. One will be granted automatically. Additionally, any federal or state liability payments including the first installment of your estimated tax payments have also been extended to July 15, 2020 without any incurred penalties or interests. After the July 15, 2020 deadline, an extension will need to be filed for the final filing date of October 15, 2020.

Our top priorities are the health and safety of our employees and you, our valued clients. We will continue to monitor the guidelines and recommendations from health experts and government officials. We will do our very best to maintain quality and timeless of our services to you and will reopen once we are told it is safe to do so. We appreciate your flexibility and support during this time, and our thoughts and prayers remain with everyone affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Until we are all through this difficult time, we thank you for your continued support. Please feel free to give us a call with any questions.

Stay safe and see you soon.

Sincerely,

Gordon Saito CPA & Dick Arakelian CPA
